Alexander Kordzaia

Assistant Director, Piano & Voice, Music Theory Classes

Founder and assistant director of the Academy of Music, Alexander Kordzaia is a professional orchestral and choral conductor, pianist and vocal coach. His training includes graduate studies at the T’blisi Conservatory of Music, Republic of Georgia and the Julliard School of Music. Mr. Kordzaia is currently the director of the University of Richmond orchestra, and the Conductor Emeritus of the Charlotte Civic Orchestra. He has conducted orchestras and choral groups throughout North America and Europe and is in frequent demand as a guest conductor.
