Professional musician and guitar instructor Ron Alig is a recent graduate of VCU with a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance where he was the recipient of the Jesu Silva Scholarship.

Ron studied classical guitar with David Toussaint and John Patykula, and played with the VCU Guitar Ensemble and the Richmond Community Guitar Ensemble. He is a member of the Richmond Guitar Quartet with Nathan Aldhizer, Andrew McEvoy and Matthew Rise.
