What is the Harp Institute?
Now in its thirteenth year, the Richmond Summer Harp Institute offers up to three weeks of intensive study of the harp, with immersion in both its solo and ensemble literature. Harpists will focus on technique and on performance skills through a conservatory-styled program. more

Focus on the Harp
Students will spend lots of time with the harp. Every day will include group and individual attention, coaching and practice time. more

Classes
A variety of harp-related classes will be offered in the second and third week of the Richmond Summer Harp Institute, including music history, music theory, aural skills/ear training and conducting. more
